Brooklyn born, child of Sicilian immigrants, first generation American. I started cooked at around 6 years old, by 8 I was cooking for my family of 4. After getting married, having a few children my husband, and I decided to move upstate NY. Quickly getting bored being so far from family, friends, and all I knew, I decided to start teaching cooking classes in the evenings at one of the local high schools. To my surprise I became a hit!
